BIO 

SEZER BİLDİREN

Sezer Bildiren, a Turkish short film director and screenwriter, born on May 9, 2000 in Sivas.


He studied primary school in Cumhuriyet Primary School, Secondary School in Selçuk Secondary School and high school in Yenişehir Anatolian High School.

He started making short films with the beginning of his interest in cinema at a young age (12). When he was in high school, he tried amateur short films. His dream of becoming an illusionist was left behind when he met the cinema.

He received his first award at the age of 16 for his first foreign language short film "Les Chats Aussi Partent". Afterwards, he continued to create many short films.

At the age of 18, he received his first international award for his short film "Kenger" and the "Best Cinematography" award from the short film festival organized by the Istanbul Private Notre Dame de Sion French High School. His short film "Kenger" was also shown in many international film festivals. He was inspired by a Christian story he heard from a philosophy teacher in high school and made the movie "İnanç" during his summer vacation in 2019, when he graduated from high school. He received the "Best Screenplay" award with his brother Sefa Bildiren for his movie ‘’İnanç’’ at the Kısakes Film Festival organized by Bahçeşehir University. "İnanç" and "Kenger" movies can be watched on Blu Tv. Sezer Bildiren also made cinematographies of some theater plays (National Theatre). Sezer Bildiren continues his

Art History education at Marmara University and is working on his new project "Hedgehog".
